While Big City Ranch is fun for all ages, after 7pm the festivities turn boozy, so we recommend families come out during our earlier hours. 

All ages are welcome to stay throughout the event, at parent discretion. After 7 pm, those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

How axe-citing! You must be at least 18+ to participate in Axe Throwing, you must be wearing closed-toed shoes & throws cannot be shared between guests.

All adult racers will need to be at least 58” and under 300 lbs. All junior racers will need to be at least 48” tall and able to follow instructions for use. For Safety, Junior sized karts are ONLY available until 7pm nightly on the track, please purchase your tickets accordingly.

We ONLY offer SINGLE Go Karts at all times. Each race experience is for one single driver only and cannot be shared, NO LAP RIDING. For the safety of all racers and our team, one driver must complete all laps in a race. “Switching” out to share a race with another driver is always prohibited. Closed-toed shoes and pulling hair back with a tie are recommended.

IMPORTANT: Meeting the height requirement is not a guarantee you will be able to race our karts. Drivers will be measured at the location and must be able to safely operate the kart. Final approval will be at the race team's discretion.

Backpacks, bags and purses are allowed and subject to inspection. We ask you do not leave or place your personal belongings out of site as we are not responsible for items stolen/lost. 

Yes! We have port-a-potties at the event. 

No, unfortunately, bringing food and drinks into an event is prohibited by the City of Chicago. A full bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is available for purchase at Jacks!

Great for all ages, our gem mining sluice is a trough in which water circulates over and over again. Simply purchase a bag of mining rough enriched with Gems, then take your bag to the sluice and sift through it. The water washes the sand away and what is left is beautiful gems. The best part? There is a plethora of free street parking surrounding Jack's that is available on a first-come-first-serve basis...this is Chicago you know! Also, on select nights there is Valet Parking/VIP Parking closer to the event, operated by a 3rd party, so cost varies. As a reminder, we suggest you do not bring, carry or store personal or valuable items in your parked car. Please lock items in your trunk if you need to. You are parking in CHICAGO, please be aware and careful when selecting parking.

We do accept "walk ups" at the door, if we are not sold out and you can pay when you arrive. Prices vary. We are 100% Cashless. We ONLY accept Credit Cards and Apple Pay. Activities are first come, first serve and you can always purchase more when you are there! MUST present a valid government-issued ID which matches your Credit Card/Apple Pay when you purchase. Howdy Partner! We received your request to change your reservation! Just as with attending a sporting event, concert, or theater, all sales are final. Please note reservations are non-refundable and not changeable, as you agreed to when purchased. We cannot cancel your reservation or reschedule it for another night. We love a good party but unfortunately, no outside food or drink is allowed at any time.

Due to the City of Chicago and other restrictions, including COVID, this is non-negotiable and strictly enforced. Please celebrate prior to or after your arrival and do not bring cake, cupcakes, or any other outside food/beverage item.

Our amazing team does not like to be the bearer of unhappy news, especially in a “party” environment. Food and full bar service will be available for an additional cost.
